Don’t think so. Eddie was in a bad position, but not hurt or in danger of being stopped. Think he would’ve gotten back to his feet eventually. But who knows.

I think the (legit?) complain I see is the consistency. If something is illegal then it should be for everyone and every time during the timeframe that the same rule is in place.

Personally I don’t think it’s that big a deal though. Fouls add extra drama and suspense.
