Overeem vs Werdum II and III really puzzle me. Fabricio had all the tools to win the whole trilogy, but he made really weird decisions. If he had been more active on the feet (where he actually had success) instead of flopping on his back, he'd have won the second fight. If he had kept punching a hurt Overeem instead of going for a TD, he'd have won the third.

He flopped onto his back whenever overeem had success on the feet. It was either flop or get rocked/kod on the follow up shots.

A lot of excuses were given, but the real reason is almost certainly that 3 months didn't give him time to cycle properly.

...thats not surprising...

2009 2010 2011 were the Ubereem years...
He was fully committed to the juice




...anyways...that fight sucked
