Werdum really shows his greatness against Stipe in my estimation. His striking is really a hell of a lot better than he gets credit for. It might not be super dangerous, but he uses it very intelligently as a way to set up his grappling AND as a way to stay away from his opponents' superior striking.
Take a look at his Strikeforce fight with Overeem... He was using his offensive striking almost as a defensive tactic. It was really brilliant and I kinda think that he won the striking there.
I think that he'll be able to do the same to Stipe, and I think that Stipe will come to regret not being afraid of Werdum's grappling...
