In fairness, Werdum would tool JDS anywhere now and picking Stipe(who JDS "won" against) probably makes JDS feel better

I mean... Throw around your subjective and opinionated labels all you want, Junior has a good perspective to lend on this fight

He felt so strongly about it that he picked an American over the Brazilian. Stipe is going to be better than Werdum standing up, so be ready for that. It's not an easy fight for Fabricio.

its hard to believe the baddest man on the planet is 40 and I hope he gets some title defences in.

JDS was a different animal when he caught Werdum. Personally I think Stipe is a harder fight for him then JDS at this point

Junior had one really, really bad fight against one of the most dangerous strikers in the division. You're absolutely silly to think that Junior couldn't KO Werdum. Werdum is not as good of a striker as you think he is. Travis Browne and Cain Velasquez are not good yardsticks to measure that kind of thing.


Remember, styles make fights.

Yet as it stands, he's the only guy ever to finish the UFC HW champ. JDS is fine in terms of a title shot whoever wins, he just needs a highlight reel KO or two.
 
I think Werdum was just butt hurt that JDS picked Stipe to win against him

When Miocic wins he could claim a shot as he was the last to defeat Stipe.

If Werdum wins Rothwell or Overeem might get a shot before Cain.
 
one bad performance and all of a sudden JDS is trash, classic mma fans. people picking rothwell over him are going to feel stupid after the clinic jds is going to put on

I don't think they'd give JDS a shot coming off a loss. He looked really bad against Overeem. I think JDS getting a shot depends on what JDS does ore than what happens elsewhere in the division.

Don't you love when people have NOTHING INTELLIGENT to bring to the conversation, so they post a nearly 7.5 year old gif of a fighter getting dropped while completely ignoring the fact that some fighters make changes and evolve?
 
Rothwell is gonna beat JDS, and Stipe is gonna beat Werdum. so we are gonna end up getting Rothwell vs Stipe for the title
