Ben Rothwell doesn't belong anywhere fucking near Cigano and Stipe's biggest wins are Mark Hunt, Andrei Arlovski, and being generous, Gabriel Gonzaga and Roy Nelson.

Cigano's biggest wins are: Fabricio Werdum, Mark Hunt, Gabriel Gonzaga, Roy Nelson, Cain Velasquez, Frank Mir, Shane Carwin, and Stefan Struve. Twice as many people.

Plus he beat the fucking shit out of Stipe.

Stipe hasn't faced any of the Travis Browne's or even the Barnett's or Bigfoot's or Mitrione's of the division. He went up against the Cigantaro of the division and got smashed to shit. In Mortal Kombat you can't even get Shao Kahn up off his seat unless you beat Kintaro.... Which Stipe failed to do. Shao Cain would mop the fucking floor with him.

Fireman has only thrived in extremely favorable matchups (like Hunt coming off a loss) against competition that was WELL past their primes.

Most importantly, he got the shit beat out of him by Cigano, who got knocked out by Overeem. So right now this puts him underneath both. Remember what happened in the Rothwell fight and this really makes Stipe Miocic FOURTH in line.

JDS has clearly lost a step and they're trying their best to "build" Rothwell with a win over a former champ and simultaneously cheapen Overeem's victory. Screw that.

Fabricio should just light Stipe up standing, then sub him and collect a paycheck.

If he pulls again they will strip him.

No faking injuries when you're UFC champ. UFC has their own medical team team to evaluate the fighters and any tests that are performed. Nice try though.

I've been practicing medicine for over 50 years, you doofus. If you say "My back hurts, give me pills." I am liable for a lawsuit if I challenge them and make an issue out of it.

Werdum could hurt his toe and say his whole foot is bad and unless the UFC goes deep and finds out it's just his toe and say he's "ducking" then who cares?

He's already champ.

Stipe took JDS to war, and in a rematch I'd pick Stipe. Rothwell just submitted Barnett. Stipe demolished Arlovski and Hunt. What more do you want them to do to fight the guys at the top? In the past 2 years Cain is 0-1, and JDS is 1-1. These guys aren't the peak of the division any more

Doofus wtf? Werdum already pulled that pansy ass shit by saying he would fight Cain and not Stipe. If he pulls it again as said in this thread UFC probably strips him and rightfully so.

They'll just wait and give it to Stipe anyway. The UFC loves Stipe; plain, says saltless things they wanna hear, free of any controversy, and marketable on 3 continents.

Eh it's not the dark ages of mma anymore. Champions deserve the opportunity to defend their belts healthy and well prepared for an opponent. I mean everyone's bitching about rematches and guys that are making excuses after losses right? You don't want to see Werdum fight Stipe at his best? I do.
I'm not agreeing with the TS but don't think Werdum was being a pansy. It's big business and lots of money at stake. Werdum is old and not a draw so the likelihood the UFC gives him a rematch with a loss is slim to none and I'm leaning towards none.
He fucked up by saying anything he should've just pulled out of the fight.

Agree with your last sentence it made him look like a fuckin fool

Yea he should lose a million dollar plus payday because you don't think it's fair Stipe got a title shot.

BTW ducking lol at the the Ufc loving Stipe.

It's was either Stipe, Reem or Rothwell get the title shot. An argument could be made for any of the three.

In order to drop out of a fight you have to prove to the UFC doctor that your injury is real. There is no faking an injury, the UFC would sue your dick off.

Rothwell doesn't deserve to fight JDS?

Didn't Rothwell knockout the guy who just KTFO'd JDS? Oh that's right, he did.

Is that so he can avoid fighting Junior?? I think we are going to see a new animal in Mr Dos Santos this time.

BTW you're shitting on Gonzaga as a win but Gonzaga beat Rothwell.

Basically you're argument is any veteran should get a title shot over any up and comers because they'll have a better set of wins based on experience alone

I agree but I still think all Champions not just the champions I like should have the right to defend their belts at their best. The UFC is very selective on who they show loyalty to and I just don't think Werdum would be on of those fighters. If he took the fight and lost you'd say he was making excuses and needs to fight his way back to the top. You can't have it both way.
