Welterweight Club All Time Total Finishes

Sorry to have triggered you. Any successful fighter who fought in the UFC at WW. The complete finish record of that fight, regardless of org or weight. McGregor does have 20 finishes. He fought Diaz and Cerrone at WW. He may still fight at WW again some day. Don't like it, go somewhere else.
You joined sherdog this year, and you think you're gonna trigger an old timer like me?

Anyway, the thread title is misleading and the stats mean fuck all if they're counting finishes that guys had in other weight classes.

McGregor has 19 finishes over some manlets, and one over a washed up welterweight... he doesn't have 20 finishes at welterweight as your thread would suggest.

Going by your logic Jon Jones is up there on the Heavyweight all time finishes list?

No need to get your panties in a twist. If it’s useless to you then feel free to read any of the other thousands of threads. I had fun making the the list. I felt like sharing.

Agreed. I came to this thread to see WW and I see fighters with KOes in 3 different weight classes.
I'm confused on the thread logic.

Holland: 20 / 14 / 6
Luque: 19 / 11 / 8
Rakhmonov: 17 / 8 / 9

Incredible that these 3 are so high up the list at their age and this point in their careers.

Or, maybe since the information is open and the nuances are well established, we can just understand who's on the list and why. It isn't like it's misleading.

This surprised me a little. Who am I missing? I'll add them to the list.
Note: Out of the bottom 10 finishers, 2 have won the WW belt.
PS: I made a companion thread with finishing percentages from the same group of fighters. Hope you enjoy.
Disclaimer: Many of the fighters here did not fight at WW exclusively. All these fighters have been welterweights at one time or another and that’s why I wanted to include them all in the same club. I wanted to compare their full finish records regardless if they stayed at WW or fought up or down.

Where is Matt Brown. The UFC KO/TKO King.

I mean, it is kind of misleading, it’s like listing Jon Jones among the top heavy weight finishes saying he has 17?

I mean, yeah, he’s a heavyweight now, and he does have 17 finishes, but only one as a heavy weight.

And OP‘s list is even worse because at least Jones is still a heavyweight, but he list some guys that are not even fighting at welterweight anymore, and were just a welterweight for a moment, but yet he includes all their featherweight and lightweight and middleweight, and who knows what finishes, all under the umbrella of WW. Like why?

Yes let’s just dismiss JBJ’s entire record before HW because it’s like he was a different person and doesn’t get credit for those performances because he changed weight classes. Only his HW record counts now. I guess some things just aren’t for you. It’s really not that difficult to understand. “Just a welterweight for a moment”. A moment? Lol smh.

Is that what I’m suggesting you dummy? Is that really how you interpret what I’m saying?

No, that’s exactly my point.

He’s got 1 finish at HW

He’s got 16 finishes at LHW

Pretty simple no?
Oh really? I wasn’t aware. Thanks for clearing that up because I mean it’s really misleading that his record is 27 wins. They should really specify otherwise people will think he won 27 fights at HW. Tell us you’re on the spectrum without actually telling us.

Apparently, you’re not aware.

If you make a thread, about number of heavyweight wins, and you list Jones with 27 then yes you are incorrect. This seems to be obvious to everyone else, but you’re one of those emotional dummies who doubles down on their stupidity rather than simply admitting that you miss spoke.

Just take the L and move on man. It’s not worth obsessing over. I’m truly sorry for misleading you.
