Well I don't know how my work found out that I got charged but they walked me out and fired me from the courthouse today all because I dropped some weed beside a cop in a subway and he charged me.

I guess everything happens for a reason but what a shitty situation

Damn maybe it was in the paper or something. That sucks bro.

Keep your chin up.

"everything happens for a reason" is not something you should believe in.

Could you give us a little more backstory on the whole weed/cop/subway situation?

Basically what Im asking is, what the fuck happened?

Do you know why I don't smoke weed? Because I'm not in middle school and I got shit to do. - Daniel Tosh

This is a good opportunity for a life lesson. Keep your head up.

Yeah........ and where do you work. If you work at a bong store, it might be a bit excessive, but if you work at a drug rehabilitation facility, or within the legal establishment, I might withhold some of my outrage.

He works at a courthouse, and while standing in line at Subway dropped two bags of weed on the floor right in front of a cop. He was arrested and made a thread about it being the end of his life.

People automatically assume anyone who does drugs is a worthless lowlife but its far from the truth. I'm a smart guy never been in trouble with the law I worked in a courthouse I held my job down (until now) I was a functional weed smoker.

Than you would have left it at home. No need to carry it around is there? (said by someone who doesn't/hasn't smoked, so take it with a grain of salt I guess)

i'm sorry to hear that, man.

i got a dui back in 2005, and it really hurt my chances at finding a job. luckily, i was able to explain the situation during my interview with my current employer, and they were able to look past it.

i bring this up because things will turn around. it's a tough lesson to learn, but it's going to make you stronger in the long-run.

hope things work out for you.

Some people drink I don't drink I like to smoke, am I really a bad person for that? Did the punishment fit the crime? I don't think so

You have to be trolling. You don't know how the courthouse you work at found out you got busted? You don't understand why the courthouse would fire you for getting arrested?

Perhaps you can go and shoot everyone in the courthouse. Then apply for a job in a gun store.

PS. If you are carrying around bags of weed when you go to Subway, I am not sure how functional you are. From my perspective, that was a completely unnecessary risk. You were presumably not going to smoke the weed in the Subway, so why did you need it there?

Sucks that you got fired. But on the bright side, at least you didn't overdose on the pots.

I'm not going to get on an anti-drug high horse here, but why did you have 2 bags? Were you dealing? If so, what do you charge per gram?

Pretty stupid way to look at it if you ask me. Alcohol is far more dangerous than weed and so is cigs. The law is not perfect you know.

Pretty stupid? Well you have lost your job and have been charged with a criminal offence. That sounds pretty stupid.
