With UFC putting out content and there being no main event mma media.

If the numbers take a big hit you could say lack of mma media coverage played a part.

But if the numbers are close to the same to Ronda's previous ones, the mma media is basically useless. UFC's own content (Embedded, posters, the Countdown shows, etc) is what really matters, along with Ronda's talk show appearances.

coverage is for both mma fans and casual followers. The less people know Ronda's fighting, the less the card sells. Now if the mma media doesn't reach PPV buyers, it tells fight fans don't buy cards, which makes no sense.
