How does any of that make sense?
you should see the big league sports' contracts/pay scales!! you wouldn't know what to do with yourself!
It doesn't make sense . Mma fighters have been getting ripped off since inception. Fighters should boycott until they get better pay lol
Why are you adding in win bonus and sponsors? That has nothing to do with whether you are headlining or not and distorts the final number. Performance bonus? Of course that's going to make things look weird if an early fight gets those!
If you look at how many UFC fights each fighter has, and just look at BASE PAY, then it makes a lot more sense:
Jim Miller (37 fights) $ 111 K
Mike Perry (15 fights) $ 95 K
Kevin Holland (12) $ 70 K
Marvin Vettori (10) $ 49 K
Arnold Allen (8) $ 52 K
Mackenzie Dern (7) $ 54 K
Makes sense almost top to bottom, though Vettori should be in the 60-65 range. Maybe he signed a longer contract before his current win streak.
Minor sport pays less than major sports, shocking.
You overlooked the most important part
Note salaries listed are based on estimates on previous contracts, trends, and drawing power! Official payouts have not be disclosed.
None of this information is accurate
Can't ask much from a pseudo bush league sport that is run by the mafia/elite
Marvin is in a good position when it comes to his next contract. I'm sure he's going to get a good bump.
Right complaint, wrong angle, as guys like Jim Miller have *absolutely* earned that kind of paycheck for their steady service. Meaning, the real problem is how low fighter pay is, as opposed to headliner pay vs undercard.
