He says a friend confided in him what Harvey was doing and he was mad about it which is why he said that. The problem isn't limited to Harvey Weinstein though and that is the real problem, its pervasive in the entertainment industry. Even at the lower levels, look at Jared Fogel doing 15 years for his activities.

I'm sure they do know and probably know many more names but they probably won't say anything, whether that be out of fear or whatever. People in upper positions of power in music, film, and also in Washington are accused and even convicted of this stuff fairly often. Its happened so much we forget all the times. As I posted early, how many people remember Martin Weiss who was a kids talent agent getting them spots on shows like iCarly who went to jail for his activities.

A Hollywood talent manager who represents children who have appeared on the likes of the tween show iCarly and on other kids' programs was charged today with child molestation.

A teenager came to police with the claim that 47-year-old Martin Weiss had molested him from 2005 to 2008 when he was a client. The victim, described by the District Attorney's office as an "aspiring singer," was 11-years-old when it started, police allege.

^ Not an exclusive product, but they are known to consort with upper echelon liberals. Hollywood is obviously left leaning. Conservatives have dirt on their hands too, but their social views aren't propagated through the entertainment industry nearly as much.

Because the focus is on sexual abuse in hollywood as of late, you're bound to see more liberal supporting executives/actors/celebs being hit with the judgement hammer than conservatives.
