Hell yeah it was a great fucking fight.

There's always gonna be people who just can't take WMMA seriously, while they've never trained a day in their lives. In the end it's all about entertainment though and I was thoroughly entertained.

I remember watching it live and I didnt think it was that amazing of a fight, not really memorable except for Joannas forehead issue. it was a 1-2 from JJ followed by counter by Zhang all night long. No one was ever in danger, there was no wow comeback, just a decent back and forth but I didnt feel it was a GREAT fight, just a fun one. I should rewatch maybe I dont remember something.

Cause it was just 40 seconds? The idea of this list is to select the best fights. I agree Nunes x Cyborg was a very important fight, but so is Holm v Ronda and many more.

Sometimes you just don't get carried away, I had this with some 'great' fights as well. I personally like fights with a finish halfway, i rarely like 5 rounds of back and forth. I loved Reem v Lesnar, Ronda v Holm, DC v Stipe II, Conor v Khabib

Couldn't agree less. none of those fights deserve it over Joanna vs zhang. Justin/ferguson wasn't competitive enough to be on the list in the first place. porier vs hooker and fig vs moreno slow down too much in the championship rounds. hooker vs felder 2 and emmett vs burgos have cases. but that's it

Zhang/Joanna only didn’t slow down because it’s WMMA and so neither could hurt each other despite landing clean so many times.

A male fight literally can’t produce that fight because someone would’ve been KO’d in round 1 if they tried to recreate that fight.

It's doesn't speak on how entertaining and competitive it was. They were trying their very hardest to put eachother out, theres something you see when a fighter digs deep and clearly wants it the most, the fight be comes a battle of wills. this was clearly there in this fight, you must be able to see that.

Wmma sure. Top 3 OAT. Them girls put on a show and its one of the few womens fights ive qatched all the way through. Mma as a whole though, not even close. Ive seen better fights in the prelims.
