Weidman won't ever sign up to fight Jacare

He should of fought by now if he wanted. Weidman either fights Machida, Branch, or Brunson. He has nothing on Yoel Luke Jacare and Whittaker.

He fought Romero and Mousasi after losing the belt. I know you don't like the guy but lets not pretend like he's afraid of anyone..


If Jacare gets him to the title shot then he will take the fight.
 
USADA ended Weidman. The guy can't fight more than 2 rounds against an opponent who is as big as him, and can make him work for the takedown.
 
If he had fought Jacare instead of Romero, you guys would have been saying he ducked Yoel instead.
 
Picked Brunson to beat Jacare. I was wrong. I think Weidman is better than Brunson in striking.

I highly doubt he is scared to fight Jacare.

He fought juiced up, undefeated in the UFC Anderson Silva and was told by 99% of the MMA world he was going to get his ass kicked, ended up losing his home, went in there and knocked out Anderson SIlva.
 
When has he ever ducked anyone?

He has only fought killers for a long time now.
 
Jacare loses to any Top 10 MW excluding Weidman and Hall. He's slow on the feet and one dimensional.

Already has L's to Rockhold, Romero, and Whittaker. He's a gatekeeper.

Has fought Maia, Silva (twice), Machida, Belfort, Rockhold, Romero, Moussasi and Gastelum but he's too afraid to fight Jacare. Yea oooookay...

Weidman was beating Yoel until Yoel threw a flying knee into the stratosphere, so...

Weidman just doesn't seem durable is the problem.
 
How does Weidman deserve a possible title eliminator over Gastelum? I know he subbed Kelvin, but my God, I don't understand that at all. Weidman got his block knocked off three fights in a row, and Kelvin just KO'd the former MW champion. Definitely would rather see Jacare/Gastelum.

Kelvin wouls lose to any of the guys that beat Chris, and lost to Weidman head to head.

Do you not remember him losing to Magny?
