Weidman vs Rockhold BJJ

All I know is when it hit the ground Chris got completely outclassed, which is funny because you had all these Shertards proclaiming him to be the best grappler at 185.

Rockhold all day, we say that in their fight.

Well considering Luke got full mount and beat Chris into oblivion, I'd go with Luke.

Luke does look impressive on the ground. I'd like to see Chris fight again and then pass judgment

Who wins?(Weidman couldn't get out of Rockold's mount)

This is like asking who'd win in a striking match between Cain and Brock. We already saw how this aspect played out brah.

Jacare and Luke are a tier above everyone else in the division when it comes to overall grappling.

The next best guy is either Weidman or Kennedy could see arguments for either one. Yoel would round out the top 5.

Ibjjf rules?
it'd end 2-0 weidman via one takedown.

EBI rules:
Rockhold in OT more ride time.

ADCC:
Woodman possibly.

MMA:
We saw how that happened.

AFAIK Rockhold doesn't do grappling tournaments, so it's hard to say. That's what we're talking about here right, pure grappling? I don't think their fight answers that question, it was late in a hard fight and Rockhold got a takedown off of a weird position. Rockhold has a tremendous mount, he showed that against Machida as well, but his overall grappling game is hard to say. If he had to takedown someone with wrestling alone, and/or grapple from the bottom, I suspect he would not look as good as he does when he gets the mount position from his great striking.

Seeing as all the groundfighting occurred when Weidman was gassed, as evidenced by his fail-kick, I'd say the jury's out.

Hes won gold at a couple IBJJF, gi and nogi and that was when he was like a blue belt.

FTR Buchecha (whos about the same size as Luke and one of the P4P best grapplers in the world) says Luke has submitted him multiple times, is the best non pure BJJ guy hes rolled with and that he would do great in BJJ competition.

Rustam is legit even back then. EBI open weight finalist. ADCC Bronze medalist.

Rockhold. Weidman's jiu jitsu game consists mainly of sheer strength and overpowering smaller opponents. Rockhold is actually really technical and way better than Weidman.
