Kelvin likely gets the next shot after Yoel. This win puts Weidman in an actual position to make a case for a title shot, for Machida (#9 now) this fight gives him one last opportunity for a title run.


Anybody else interested in this? Or is Jacare vs Weidman the more appealing fight?

Machida should fight the Tavares/Adesanya winner in November/December. He can drink some piss in the meantime to stay healthy.
 
I like it, but not more than jacare vs Weidman.
 
Lyoto San should fight the Uriah X Borrachinha winner or Branch

The Chris should fight Jacare

Watch Machida vs. Anders, he looked horrible and won a robbery decision, you really think he can beat guys like Chris, Jacare or Kelvin?
 
Huge Machida fan...and the answer is no. If he has to fight again, let it be Bisping or someone else from his era and then retire.

The fight makes zero sense anyway. If Machida somehow won, what would be next for him? No one in their right mind thinks he can be a serious contender again. If Weidman won, what would another win over Machida do for him and his chance for a title shot? Nothing.
 
Machida looked great because he fought the further devolved version of dadbod Vitor. He fought 1000 yard stare, greying, emotional support dog Vitor.
