that's right, but I just don't want to see him and romero again, I want new matchups
 
Maybe Brunson/Jacare for Weidman and Costa for Romero ?
 
Even Rockhold rematch makes more sense than Romero
 
We need Mousasi back....

And sign Shlemenko, too, while they're at it.
 
Romero is turning 41 in spring. If he wants to keep up with his mma career he should be fighting asap.

No...weidman is coming off an impressive submission win...while romero is coming off of a loss...weidman should have a #1 contenders fight...

Romero had 8 solid wins and the UFC gave the shot to other fighter. I'm talking he had wins over Weidman, Jacare, Machida, Kennedy, Tavares, Brunson, and 2 other guys. Meanwhile, when Romero had these 8 wins, the UFC gave the shot to Hendo instead for one win over Lombard. & now, Rockhold is getting a shot with one win over David Branch.

If anything, Rockhold should be fighting Romero for the next title shot because Whittaker is on an 7 fight winstreak at MW. They should just give the belt to Whittaker since he was the interim and the belt was vacated. Whittaker should not have to fight for the belt against a guy with one win when he has 7 which include Romero and Jacare. Jacare, Romero, and Whittaker get F'd by the UFC.
 
Romero x Gastelum or Shoeface (5-1 in 6 MW fights)
Weidman x Brunson/Jacare winner

Lol a win over a midget to MW standards, Romero just lost 3-2 rounds to the champ.. Romero is ahead in terms of titleshot or rankings.

I understand that, but Romero was screwed out of his title shot. They kept making him wait & fight other guys until he got derailed. He was on and 8 fight winstreak and they gave it to Hendo who had 1 win. Currently Whittaker is on and 7 fight MW winstreak and they are making him fight Rockhold who has one win. Whittaker is getting screwed hard as well. He shouldn't have to fight for the belt when he was the interim and GSP vacated the belt after defeating Bisping. If Whittaker would have got the fight against Bisping or GSP, he would probably already be champion. But he didn't get to fight either and now he has to fight a guy with one win.

I don't agree with Rockhold and Whittaker either, but since it is already official, they should just give Romero and easy fight so he is coming off of a win, then a title shot. Then Jacare vs Weidman for a title shot after Romero VS Rockhond/Whittaker

The Whittaker fight was close enough & was on such a tear before the loss that I reckon he gets the next TS.

Weidman gets the winner of Brunson/ Jacare.
