Weidman is now soylent green

It wasn't long ago he beat Kelvin Gastelum and some of his losses he was pretty competitive.

To be fair Weidman didn't build himself up like this.
maybe not, but he fed on the remainings of the goat, he became very popular, has been on a decline ever since, now he is being recycled.
many fighters go through these stages.

He was fighting an Anderson still on an undefeated run, maybe somewhat on the decline but certainly not busted, not to the degree Weidman is today.

not even close. Weidman of today is really bad.

Romero has ruined 3 men’s careers. At least Rob is somewhat making a comeback. Gonna see if he took it out of Costa soon. Or maybe if his single punch landed on Israel follows him to his next fight.

what IS the secret of Soylent19?!

or does Covid Green work better?

He definitely isn’t what he used to be, but all the guys who beat him were guys who were supposed to beat him, in my opinion.

Interestingly enough, he looked the best he’s looked in a while in the 3rd round against Akhmedov, even though he was seemingly out of gas in the 2nd.

It's so weird when this happens. You see Weidman moving more slowly and making mistakes he didn't use to make. It's like each KO knocks a couple years of technique from a fighter.
Cuz it’s probably true, fighters talk about how each war takes a piece out of them after every fight, there’s probbaly a bigger impact on total devestating ko’s because of the damage concussions have to long lasting health, memory, and motor functions

Its strange what happend to him he looked so tired and slow, maybe weight cut is to difficult and drains his energy to much ? or its ring rust

Weidman had an injury and surgery following his loss to Rockhold. Weidman also reported to have had multiple surgeries around 2018-2019.

He had neck surgery in 2019... I’d be interested to actually know how many surgeries he’s had since he started competing. He’s had his fair share of pull outs, his body’s telling him it’s time, his mind doesn’t seem to get it...

Edit

This is why Adesanya was scared beyond belief to engage with Yoel so he resorted to City Kickboxing’s patented ‘leg kick and run’ tactic.

Solid top 20 fighter and a huge name. All the new fighters will look to make a name out of him. UFC will keep him as long as they can, cause he will promote the new up and comers who try and attempt this opportunity that is called mma. Its the cycle of life, now Weidman is served as food for the younglings.
so....he's not your boi?

Top 10 fighter still..

Needs to get some roadwork in but still a solid fighter...

He just out grappled a juiced guerilla ...not an easy job...wasnt pretty but he got it done against a huge opponent

With proper 185 cardio i think he'll do fine...

Id say give him edmens boy next or gaste again ...then we'll know
