Weakest resume for goat??

Khabib is obviously very good. But he’s not even the clear cut LW GOAT, imo. One more defence, and I’d call him the LW GOAT. But he didn’t do it.

As for the overall GOAT.. He’s nowhere even near that conversation. And it’s ridiculous if anybody tries to put him in that conversation.

I don’t believe there is a one true GOAT in mma. There is one in wmma, but not for the men, imo.
Wait, who's the other viable LW option?

Probably Fedor just cause of all the bums in there.

Like people will shit on Mighty Mouse's competition as being weak, but at least those guys actually were highly ranked. The division sucking isn't the same thing as just flat out fighting the Zulus of the world.

Benson has just as many UFC defences, as well as was a 3x WEC champ and has more ranked and bigger wins.

The only reason to put Khabib above him is if you're going based on dominance and being undefeated.

You can't really compare because khabib needs more defenses
You can pretty easily. I don't think Usmans wins are that great comparatively. Tho Khabib has les defenses, I think his opponents were just better.

RDA is a shared win and Usman was way bigger than him.

Colby is overrated imo. He's popular because he talks shit but performance I rate him lower than Burns. I could easily see many top 5 LWs beating Colby.

Tyron was very disappointing in his championship years.

Burns is a great win despite being a former LW. He came into him own at 170.

Masvidal should never have gotten any title shots. It's ridiculous that Usman fought him twice.

Benson couldn't beat Pettis

You say rda was undersized but not Colby? Burns you mentioned too. Half of khabibs title fights were former 145lbers too

That's tough. Benson did have a very extensive resume but I think he lost pretty consistently to the better LWs he fought. I think Khabib had higher quality but definitely not the volume.

Benson is a very good one to bring up.

Because logic

Imo there is no doubt in hell that khabib has the weakest resume in ufc history to even be considered in top 10 goat fighters ever.

I am ready to get flamed by khabib fan girls but that is ok.

I agree, but he could have been a goat if he kept fighting.

His padded recorded is kind of hilarious at times.

11-0 khabib fought a guy 0-2
12-0 khabib fought a guy 1-1
13-0 Khabib took a "huge" step up and fought a guy 5-2
14-0 Khabib went back to padding to fight a guy on debut.
15-0 Khabib went for an experienced but easy guy with 28-22 record

Imagine those poor guys having to fight Khabib at that point? His def the goat of padding.

In a world without Pettis Benson has a 14 fight win streak across the WEC-UFC and doesn't lose either his WEC or UFC belts until RDA.

Which would undoubtedly be a GOAT run.

Burns wasn't undersized. I specifically said he cane into his own at 170. He himself said that he is much bigger 170. He was killingbhimself to make 155

Colby isn't small. He just says shit to protect his image. He's a decent sized WW. I wish they'd release fight night weights for him just so this narrative would die.

As for the silly comment about Khabib's opponents, they were his size. Conor and Dustin both bulked up and filled out very well for 155. All 3 of them came into the cage around the mid 170s.

Just because someone used to fight at a weight class doesn't mean they are forever the same size lol. I mentioned RDA specifically because RDA didn't bulk up. He just cut less like Cowboy used to. He was a big LW but pretty small at 170.

Colby weighs less than khabib out of camp

For sure. Pettis and RDA put the breaks on Benson's early dominance something fierce.
