Russian Tie to Kata Guruma to Armbar

[/SPOILER]

That's a leg grab sode tsurikomi goshi, not a kata guruma. Kata guruma = shoulder wheel where you go through the inside of the leg and roll them over your shoulder. Sode is like lifting, pulling sleeve throw or something.

Also the kimura grip ones you're referring to are makikomi throws.

Awesome thanks, I think there's a few of those that I started calling reverse kata guruma, I'll fix them up. So would you word the others like "Uchimata Makikomi"?

Yeah lots of wrestlers call it reverse fireman's carry but since it starts with the sleeve pull and then the leg is hooked it's a sode variation in judo.

I'm not 100% sure if uchi mata makikomi is recognised as one officially but harai makikomi just means winding sweeping hip, soto makikomi is just major wraparound throw or something.

Just so we're clear you're talking about these right? So it would be Uchimata Makikomi (unofficially) and O Goshi Makikomi? Or are you talking about the parisyan gif?

Yeah the o goshi one is soto makikomi though, I think. Someone will come in and correct me if I'm wrong. The only makikomi I really do is an osoto one.

Awesome, thanks. I'm learning a bunch of Judo solely of your clarifications lol! I'll fix them up now.

How about kpoz barrel roll defense of something or other to a something or other submission. He could post that for the tenth time so no one could give a shit about it again

A few things:
The kouchi gari was an ouchi, unless you mean the fake but there's still an ouchi there before the leg entanglement.

I'd still call the o goshi an uchi mata.

The sasae is actually a nidan kosoto gari.

Oh and if you're being a proper pedant then the Japanese for mount is tate shiho gatame.

Nice stuff though, appreciate the effort.

Thanks! Fixed it up, I decided to leave the mount because i'm brainwashed by BJJ! Plus then I would feel obligated to change a lot of other things like Juji-Gatame, Ude Garame and Sankaku Jime haha.
