I'm gonna investigate some time this week. will report back once my study is concluded
I just saw a commercial for Popeyes Chicken. They have a new item that they are calling Ghost Pepper chicken wings or something.
That sounds like #1 bullshit. There’s no way they are using any more than an irrelevantly small amount of ghost peppers in these, if any at all.
I bet they are hot, but no way they are too hot to eat.
I don’t have a Popeyes around me. Can someone here go eat these and report back? We can do this if we all work together.
It's just the latest pepper to be used by marketing idiots.
For a while, everything had jalapeno in it. Then everything was habanero flavored for a year or so, then chipotle was the last one. Holy hell that one really took off. They'd write chipotle on everything.
Last year they tried sriracha but that one didn't really take off like chipotle.
Now it looks like they're trying out ghost pepper.
This year, you can look forward to seeing ghost pepper chips, ghost pepper oreos, ghost pepper toilet paper, etc.
Esteemed colleagues
I am back from Popeyes with my intel on their Ghost pepper wings.
THIS SHIT AINT EVEN HOT
