I'd disagree. Normal Colby I find entertaining to watch because it's nonstop pressure with a lot of tenacity and high volume. The Colby of last night was fucking terrible.
 
yeah, it would have been worse than conor. and he's just about the only one you could say that for.

I think Colby lost his edge when he did that dad thing with Edwards, he apologized at the face off, and that’s unusual - but he didn’t look good at all to me in the fight, had no killer in him. so maybe his age in that weight class is a factor too
But knowing it was his last shot, I thought he would fight differently, with more urgency, he seemed to be trying to survive instead of win

Calling out a older version of wonder boy,post fight , who’s a pure striker is weird too

It takes two to tango and Leon was also boring as fuck. You're telling me Colby was so bad, but Leon didn't capitalize so easily? The difference was 13 significant strikes. Colby had more ground control time, same amount of takedowns. And the press conference was way more exciting than the fight. The gimmick sold the fight and got people like you talking, now you're pretending Colby was the problem, when Leon did shit all to engage as well and lost the ground control time. Make it make sense.

To each their own. To me he's just a sloppier but scrappier Jon Fitch, there's no particular facet of his game that's interesting to me. I'll watch his fight if he's fighting someone I like I guess but he as an individual fighter brings nothing to the table that's must see, probably why he adopted the gimmick

Leon's shots were hurting him every time he landed and he grappled with Cholby for funzies which is why Cholby was so cautious. Leonidas looked highly unconcerned about any aspect of Cholby's game. Press conference wasn't exciting at all, the only thing noteworthy was Cholby and Fergie trying to suss out who has more brain damage

I like the fights where he finally overwhelms people and you can see them start to break, I find that shit fascinating to watch

Are you a furry or something? Colby was not hurt by any of those shots. 13 punches isn't some ground breaking striking master class. It was point fighting pitter patter, where Colby had more ground control time with same amount of takedowns and he finished stronger. the press conference was the most exciting part, literally everyone was talking about it. this isn't some catastrophic career loss for Colby. 13 punches more, big whoop. Leon also looked terrible.
 
It’s weird that people keep painting Colby and Sean with the same brush. They’re nothing alike

True, I was just pointing out that Leon is a safe fighter and always has been. No real power in his punches and likes to sit back and point fight. But yeah, he's slightly more entertaining than Colby.
