I'm not here to shit on the bmf belt but everytime the subject is brought up
I cant stop thinking about the Hardcore title back in the WWF Attitude era . You'd have the meanest wrestlers compete for a belt that they wouldn't normally get the chance to like say the WWF Championship.
And back then the Hardcore belt did mean something. I believe the BMF belt could mean something as well but right now i think its too gimmicky.
i think replacing the useless interim belt with the bmf would be a good start. whats your thoughts?

I'm almost positive you stole this idea from my post a couple weeks ago where I said that it was the Hardcore belt from WWF, not an equivalent to a world title but a specialized belt for people with a certain "ECW" skillset.

Or maybe I didn't post it and it was all in my head, idk. But I agree.

It is not real. It can’t be challenged for by everybody, like every other UFC belt. It’s not an open weight belt. Women certainly can’t challenge for it, either.

The lineal BMF Champion is Leon Edwards. But he doesn’t even have the belt. He can’t put it on the wall of his house.

Somehow it went from the WW division to the LW division.

It’s fucking stupid.

The bmf champ should be able to do the walkout with their dog and/or cat.

Imagine Justin gaethje riding out on his horse with his cat on his shoulder and his dog follows behind him.

No one would argue the legitimaticy of the bmf belt after that

The fact that not every fighter can even challenge for it only makes it more legitimate..

A few questions still need to be answered.
1.) Is it Possible for the BMF to not be the champ of their division?
2.) Will there a Female BMF?
3.) Can there be a BMF in each weight class?
4.) if the answer to #3 is yes, should the BMF's all have to fight each other regardless of weight?
5.) Will the winner of the BMF open weight class tournament be called the Ultimate BMF?

Kind of similar to the fiasco of wrestling's Brawl For All, a marketing mistake that only caused tragedy.

I think its a stupid premise but here aremy thoughts. Can't be a continuous title...Should just be BMF fights and you get a belt...in other words you don't have to beat the guy who has the belt to win a BMF title. If there are two guys that are deserving of that title in a year or two or 3 then they fight for it. Also...fight has to end in a KO or yiu don't getthe belt.

One and one thing only:

Make the BMF belt officially the openweight title

Let anyone challenge for it regardless of weight class.

Also let's get wild with it and make it one 25 minute round, no breaks. And no stand ups
Start by Masvidal coming back to unify the title against Gaethje. I would rather watch that than Volk's, or Islam,'s or Edwards', or Aljo's next title defense. And if you assume legitimatization is putting on the fights people want to see, then yeah that fight would legitimize the fuck out of the bmf title.

Saw this after my post, I fully support a wandering open weight belt.

Edit, 25 minutes would be nuts
