Ok, Fedor 'could' KO Francis, as could most MMA HWs if they land flush. But would he based upon the evidence we have seen (Francis having been hit by better strikers and harder punchers than Fedor)? Highly doubt it.

Fedor isn't this superhuman dude lol. He was great for his time, but massivelyyyyyyy overrated by many a cultist.
 
This is what I'm talking about when I say Stipe-DC was a shit show. Slow, stiff and sloppy. I can't believe how much the HW division has devolved.

Fact of the matter is that whilst it is true that hypotheses will always be hypothetical, they can be argued well based upon past quantitative and qualitative evidence.

So when it comes to me stating that Ngannou would have KOed Fedor, I base this upon Ngannou being a much harder puncher than ANYONE Fedor fought, and Fedor having been knocked out cold by much lesser fighters. That aside, I remember Fedor being tagged quite often in Pride, notably by Fujita who is a bum when it comes to stand up lol, so saying Ngannou would have slept Fedor is actually quite a strong hypotheses, especially since Ngannou has KOed superior strikers to Fedor as well.

KO power aside, Ngannou has eaten shots from harder punchers than Fedor.

Fedor was great for his time, but he isn't as good as his crazy fans make him out to be.

Actually without a time machine your putting Ngannou and Fedor both in their primes together in the cage (or ring I suppose, depending on if it was in Pride or the UFC) is as much a fantasy (as in impossible to happen) as my cousin Jeremy beating either or both of them.

What would have been possible is Fedor at 28 (his prime) fighting an 18 year old Ngannou, or Ngannou at 34 (he started late so his prime is later) fighting a 44 year old Fedor. These fights didn't happen, but could have. I'm not sure what either would tell us though -- Fedor at 28 easily beats 18 year old Ngannou, Ngannou at 34 easily beats 44 year old Fedor. Fedor at 28 fighting a 34 year old Ngannou involves time machines, which is certainly beyond our technology (and would you really waste one on that fight if you had one?) and might even be physically impossible (though there is a theory that it could be done using spinning black holes).

Fedor and his team really game planned well for cro cop, he showed techniques in this fight that we probably have yet to see from any other hw since like muay Thai Pyramid/temple blocking, where he blocks low mid and high kicks all in one move as well as countering cro cops deadliest weapon, his high kick by being faster with a knee needing counter kick of his own. And this is just defensively.

Take notes youngins, this is why Fedor is considered the goat.

Cause I'm not a ufc shill, I'm an mma fan first and foremost, the type to actually defend fair sport and I'm anti corruption...so I trigger a lot of ufc only fans and mods. When I defend myself I can get carried away but I don't feel I cross the line. Mods feel differently.

Anyways some of the best posters here receive cards. It's not indicative of the quality of their posts sometimes.
