Opinion Washington Post - Gutted

Are you going to answer the question @SurferH2O ?

Or laugh emoji and act like it never happened because you and I know the answer is ZERO.

ZERO people have been arrested from it. Aren’t you outraged? Why isn’t Trumps DOJ arresting people with all the concrete evidence you say exist?

It's a stupid question. The worst part about it is that you and a few others think that talking point actually means something, and you've spammed the board with it repeatedly.

How quickly do you think State and Federal indictments happen?

You think that idiot point is more important than the massive fraud that has happened. Pathetic.

Not enough were fired , no wonder they were losing money . Even liberals aren’t that stupid just some of the fridge hard lefties

I don’t know that I have seen much real journalism in recent years-real news aside from local, either. While my local news kind of sucks, they tend to stay in the middle, however, they absolutely use clickbait headlines to draw people in to argue in the comment section-but I don’t really see much bias there.

Every single national news agency has a pretty obvious bias-especially the big guys like cnn/fox/msnbc-hell, npr which receives government funding is rated liberal by multiple news sources and of its listeners, 67% identify as moderate to liberal and 41% of the 67% identify as very liberal(my wife loves npr).

It’s no different with online or the print media-which I liken to the dinosaurs 66 million years ago looking up and going “what the fuck is that bright thing in the sky?” Print media will be dead soon.

Notice this is in the "Sports" section, not the Op-Ed aka "Opinions" section.

But don't worry, their coverage isn't obnoxiously partisan outside that section. LMAO.

Opinion columns in a sports section are very normal as long as they are listed as columns for the writer and not straight news. They've existed since the dawn of the modern sports page and every major sports section does opinion columns.

Once again, your lack of knowledge regarding the history of journalism is readily apparent. Several sports writers have won Pulitzers for Commentary.

It’s a ridiculous and stupid opinion much like this post, that is the point

What of the article I'm guessing you didn't even read was ridiculous?
Oh' I don't know...

The overwhelming virtue signaling over Colin Kaepernick? Guy is a complete clown, but you Libs are still hanging on to his "powerful" movement...

So cringe.

Being a life long fan of 49ers watching every game especially around that time yes I do, “ polarizing cultural symbol, sparking widespread debate, backlash, and ultimately his exclusion from the league after the 2016 season.“. He wasn’t excluded he wasn’t good enough to be a starting QB anymore and wanted starter money . His GF radicalized him .

It also says this which is ridiculous he’s no civil rights hero and the Super Bowl is about the game which people like to use as an escape from things in life .
.
“yet questions why he’s largely absent from today’s discussions despite ongoing societal tensions around race, equality, and activism that echo his original message. It portrays this Super Bowl as a moment ripe for reflection on his impact, but one where Kaepernick remains overlooked and unacknowledged by the league”

lol why would they talk about that fool at the Super Bowl

But go ahead you tell me

So you're arguing that his public statements and conduct had no impact on his employment prospects? Odd argument given the NFL settled to avoid going to trial and having depositions make private conversations public knowledge. Whether or not he asking for more than his worth doesn't negate that he was polarizing and not liked by the NFL.

lol why would they talk about that fool at the Super Bowl

But go ahead you tell me
Why would they talk about a well known athlete from the Bay Area before a Super Bowl in the Bay Area? Before a Super Bowl that happens during one of the more politically charged eras in modern US history? Gee, must be rocket science.

What did he virtue signal about Kaepernick?
Seriously? LOL

He was an over the hill second stringer on the verge of getting cut, before he pulled that shit. He was then offered a charity tryout during his performative nonsense and pussied out, or as you would put it "stuck it to the man!".

LOL @ you, for still not understanding why Kaep is an absolute joke after all these years. My God.

So you didn't read the article before whining about it. Got it.

Again, regardless of how overrated he was, it's clear from the NFL settling that there were some unsavory business practices they didn't want to come to light through deposition. That's corporate legal defense 101.

You got no idea what you're talking about there are at least 100 better players that played for the 49ers and more well known. It's obvious you know nothing about football.

One doesn't need to know a sport to understand what settling before depositions and trial means.

So you don't know nothing about the Super Bowl and the NFL yet have a strong opinion what should be talked about for it ? LOL

The strong opinion that part of Kaepernick's story does include the flak he caught for his political beliefs? Buddy, no wonder you are always on dubs, you can't look at an issue without resorting to Maga swamp brain.

My opinion on this matter is he stepped out of line and voiced a controversial views, which was one of the factors that negatively impacted his career and led to the stigma against discussing the matter. That's not exactly a hot take.
