Obviously Nate spoiled that. Diaz said GSP is full of shit wanted to bully Mcgregor in a freak show fight. Would Mcgregor vs. GSP have broken the record for PPV buys which Diaz vs. Mcgregor currently holds? I can see UFC trying to use GSP for UFC 200 trying to make that money.

We will never know. But people will believe what they want to believe.
 
I knew Conor would lose eventually owing to his ambition but I didn't know it would be so soon. Moving from 45 champ to 55 champ in 3 months is insane and bordering on stupid. There is a right way to go up and wrong way. Funnily, it is his ambition that he is made fun of for: "sure he wanted to fight RDA but was afraid of Frankie". He would fight GSP in a heart beat but he would lose and lose badly. Sometimes a fighter has to be saved from themselves (a la Chuck).

Anyone....I repeat ANYONE who actually believes the UFC ever considered having Conor fight GSP?

Seems crazy and I wouldn't even be interested in seeing it but it does seem like what the UFC was pushing for.
 
Most stupid fight ever. Conor should be defending his 145 belt. If GSP wants to come back then he needs to fight proper welterweight fighters like Robbie
