was Tony Ferguson ever that good?

Of course he wasn't that good.

Look at Fedor, king of the can crushers, lost to a middleweight, never even made the UFC. He certainly wasn't that good.

Nor was BJ Penn who has the longest losing streak in UFC history.

Neither was Stipe. He never fought anyone in their prime.

Certainly not Ngannou. Beating up a 40 year old to become champ and then a Frenchman with 5 MMA fights?

GSP? Why he fought the weakest ensemble of welterweights in history and had zero KO's. Had to drug Nick Diaz before the fight and still couldn't knock him out. And lost to the shortest, stubbiest guys imaginable (Hendricks and Serra).

Add Khabib to the list of never that good. Lost to journeyman what's his face. Beat Al Iaquinta, of all fighters, to become champ? And only had stylistically favorable matches when he was champ. And to top it off, ducked Ferguson, who you already established was never that good, four times! Who are Khabib's best wins? Gaethje? Never was champ. Conor? One career win at lightweight. Iaquinta. I mean, this is worse than Tony's best wins by a country mile!

If he "wasn't ever any good" then every LW sucks, Khabib included.

Sherkids, take this 1 piece of advice from me if there's anything you ever take from a shitposter like me..... the moment you go these routes to downplay fighters, you surely are downplaying a fighter you're a fan of in the process, whether you realize it or not.

Of course he is!! Fucking idiotic fans and the retarded hindsight.

When you guys say "LOST TO A MIDDLEWEIGHT" you act like it was some fuckin scrub.
We're talking about Dan fuckin Henderson here.
A man with a right hand so fuckin lethal they named it "THE H BOMB".

You don't get that without being able the crack ffs.

Fedor beat the best in the world ..all of them at the time.
10 fuckin years undefeated in a division where it only takes one shot to end the fight.

Ridiculous the way you guys shit on legends around here.

He was getting mounted by Kevin Lee in his prime. He'd get schooled by any version of Islam!

Physically and mentally tough, really good cardio. Apart from that I can’t see anything else and massive problems such as poor technique, poor defence so no.

Being mounted by a fighter who's specialty is grappling isn't anything to be ashamed of. Who won that fight?

Lmao at this sherdogger logic. Anyone that isn't the current world champ is just some can.

Yes he was very good, then he took lots of damage over many fights until he wasn't in his prime anymore.

OMG, Dan Henderson? The guy who lost the biggest fight of his life to Michael Bisping, the worst middleweight champ in world history? No, you can't be serious.

Who is Fedor's best win? Rampage? Sonnen? Oh sorry, more middleweights.

Cro Cop? The guy who got crushed by human Waffle House fattest belly in MMA history Roy Nelson.

Honestly, Tony's best wins are better than Fedor's. You've got to try harder.

Big Nog was P4P NO1 at the time he beat him and CroCop was a straight killer at the time.
You guys really just remember the bullshit that's supports your narrative.

Two guys who crushed cans overseas. What were their records in the UFC?

Sorry, Tony Ferguson did it at the highest level. So even though he sucks, as TS pointed out, he's still better than those two "fan-friendly" hype trains that got derailed when they finally fought at the highest level.
