Of course he wasn't that good.
Look at Fedor, king of the can crushers, lost to a middleweight, never even made the UFC. He certainly wasn't that good.
Nor was BJ Penn who has the longest losing streak in UFC history.
Neither was Stipe. He never fought anyone in their prime.
Certainly not Ngannou. Beating up a 40 year old to become champ and then a Frenchman with 5 MMA fights?
GSP? Why he fought the weakest ensemble of welterweights in history and had zero KO's. Had to drug Nick Diaz before the fight and still couldn't knock him out. And lost to the shortest, stubbiest guys imaginable (Hendricks and Serra).
Add Khabib to the list of never that good. Lost to journeyman what's his face. Beat Al Iaquinta, of all fighters, to become champ? And only had stylistically favorable matches when he was champ. And to top it off, ducked Ferguson, who you already established was never that good, four times! Who are Khabib's best wins? Gaethje? Never was champ. Conor? One career win at lightweight. Iaquinta. I mean, this is worse than Tony's best wins by a country mile!
