I laughed my arse off when they announced this fight, I just knew what it was going to be, a gift from the Just Bleed gods and so it was, fun fight!

Yeah, I’m not saying he landed nothing but he was a punching bag for the vast majority of that. fight.

Even in that gif, you can see Meléndez landing, and then blocking and rolling with most of what’s coming back at him, while Diego just stood with his face out and bit down on his mouth piece and ate it. Still impressive that he had the balls and the chin to go the distance, but that fight was pretty one-sided from what I remember.
