He was beaten mentally more then physically. It's hard for me to buy that Nas quit just because barrera beat him. Yes barrera certainly outboxed him but it's not like he received a vicious career ending beating or anything.

it was Forman. He did. I think it was Steward who told him to knock it off.
it was Forman.
Was only 27 years old... Barrera didn't even go to WAR with Nas and his power was able to flick Nas' body all around making him unbalanced and uncoordinated. Eubank Sr. also put Nas in his place saying that his whole ACT was really inspired from him. Jumping in the ring, flashy, etc....
Guys like Khan, Brook... these guys kept going when the going to tough, rough, WAR... Hamed claims that it was a hand injury... plenty of British boxers have had injuries...
Was Nas content with his fortune and was afraid of another loss? Never unified against a WBA or IBF Featherweight Champ
Nas was a guy who got clowned badly after spending a career clowning others. It destroyed him.
He was coasting already before the loss. His heart wasn't in it anymore and every fight he was busting up his hands. He wasn't destroyed by Bererra and his opportunities probably went south after 9/11. There probably weren't any big offers to pull him out of retirement mode.
8 rounds to 4. It's not unreasonable to think if he actually cared and trained he couldn't win 2 more roundsNot really. Only because of the point deduction.
Pretty sure you mean Nelson Mandela.Freeman*. It was Morgan Freeman.

Barrera didn’t finish Naseems career.
He had enough money and just didn’t have the desire anymore.
It was the HBO millions that finished Naz.
Nas led plenty of times during his career. He had a decent backhand jab and he'd lead with corkscrew uppercuts. The formula was exposed: Make Nas take the lead and NEVER let him counter puch.
