She could range from acapella mariachi vocals which are very hard to R n B her understanding of music was far above j lo. Selena would have evolved into a legendary world class musical talent with time.

Selena was legendary she is actually the reason J lo became famous because she played her in a movie. On a side note what the hell is up with hollywood always casting Puerto ricans are mexican characters if anything it should be the other way mexicans outnumber puerto ricans.

The only field J lo was better than selena at was dancing but selena was a world class singer that could hit any note on a crazy range.

Not even focus on her singer thing, JLo was still JLo in an hot pic, a videoclip, a movie etc... essentially my perception of her was an american celebrity that here and there dropped some cheap catchy song, wich was kinda pleasant to listen because mentally you associated it with her who was very hot, and that's enough i guess
