Pre-Usada Weidman was undefeated, and heck was never really even threatened whatsoever in any of his fights, almost a Khabib level dominance, but against consistently higher level competition than Khabib.
Before USADA he had incredible strength, cardio, and even punching power, to go along with his prodigious grappling technique.
He also fought basically every style at the highest level and passed all tests with fight colors. He cut an insane amount of weight last minute and still easily handled prime Maia, including in the grappling exchanges. He humiliated D1 NCAA wrestling champ Mark Munoz in all aspects of MMA. He then absolutely dominated all time GOAT Anderson Silva twice. He followed that up by taking on an elite striker with top notch TDD in Machida, winning easily and even landing the more damaging blows on the feet. Finally he streamrolled the infamous TRT Belfort, once it hit the ground it was like man vs boy.
USADA came in after that fight, and the rest is history. He lost his title to Rockhold in his first USADA era fight, although he still looked good as he was still probably getting residual PED benefits, then declined more and more as time went on.
I don't see DDP having anything for him, as his TDD isn't the best, and once Weidman of that era had top control, you were in major trouble.
Khamzat might be the most interesting challenge as he could at least keep it standing, but Weidman probably just beats him there, especially as the fight goes on, a la Usman (but a prime huge 185 Weidman is a whole different world than an older injury riddled natural WW Usman).
Pereira gets put on his back and mauled. Prime Izzy seemed to have incredible TDD but he never faced a wrestler like Pre-USADA Weidman.....yes he faced older Yoel, but Yoel never implement his wrestling like Weidman did.
Weidman and Hendricks have to be the fighters with the most blatant and extreme declines that like up perfectly with the USADA era (and TRTitor).
