He was late with his inside strikes. He didn't seem to be able to time Burrell coming in. That's why Burrell was successful with the clinch.
Again, he's excellent at striking at range. He needs work against guys who won't give it to him.
Huge Page fan but I actually agree with this. If he's to face the best wrestlers of the division he'll need to have the ability to punish them for failed takedown attempts.
If him and his camp are smart this fight could be the best thing to happen to him. It's a huge learning experience right there. Then again it still looks as though he doesn't want to check leg kicks despite getting hit with some big ones against Jefferson George.
People are already forgetting that Burrel got outwrestled by Stephen Thompson. Page got exposed and if he fights a legit wrestler he's getting owned.
They both outwrestled Nah-Shon.
