Merab really showed his ass during the entire lead up to this fight. All the crying and whining and lobbying for other fights and he still ends up fighting Umar smh. He should’ve just said yes from the beginning and kept his mouth shut.

Yea how dare he try and do that whole prizefighting thing. Lobbying for a fight with Figgy was reasonable. Why not try and snag a title defense against a more beatable opponent? He had a long road to the title and understandably wants to try to maximize his oppurtunity to make money.

He didn’t have to act like a retard in order to lobby for another fight. Throughout this entire build up Merab spazzed out and had a melt down any time Umar’s name came up, he made an ass of himself. Would’ve been better off keeping his mouth shut, or at least talk trash with a bit more composure.
