Am I the only one that thinks that the UFC and Conor McGregor are pulling a WWE feud via social media to drum up Interest and PPV buys for UFC 200, all this shit is a little to convenient.

It's a creative theory, but too risky for an event that is destined to do very well without machinations.

Nope, that was my theory for most of this whole debacle....I've lost faith in said theory now.
 
Nobody even gives a shit about this besides us. And we're not the ones that make them a lot of money, the casuals do. The casuals aren't even aware of this drama. It's a stupid conspiracy theory.
 
He's off the card because the guy is a complete retard and egomaniac. No rational person can believe that this guy, who the UFC brass worships, couldn't have negotiated all of these small terms that he currently wants before he signed the contract. He's like the reincarnation of BJ with less fighting skills. Bad career moves, bad planning, no heart, never trained with the right people, it's all there. He's currently "motivated Conor".

Dana White is simply protecting Mcgregor by taking him out of the fight with Diaz cuz he knows itll only make his prized posession lose more of his luster. Mcgregor doesnt want the fight either because he knows what will happen. This was all just a little publicity stunt before they replace them with Jones vs Cormier 2. Dana and Mcgregor can suck it.
 
Lets see the best way to market and hype a card is to pretend start a beef between the owners and the star. Then let the star retire via social media only to unretire again.
Send out a Sunday night twitter about being back on the card only to have it denied by the promoter a few hours later.

This is how you market and build hype for a card?
