I thought this was a late hit and he deserved to be penalized for it. Probably a suspension as well.

Thoughts?

 
Definitely a late hit, but it was shoulder to shoulder so not really suspension worthy.

Interesting, we will see. He got major off for it and got ejected. So that usually will be looked at for sure.
 
Late by today's standards. Tkachuk saw the pass and knew what was happening. That being said, keep your head up and stop admiring your passes. Thankfully, he didn't target the head.

Typically, I'd lean towards no suspension but considering the circumstances and since it's Tkachuk I wouldn't have a problem with giving him 20 games.

20 games for that little bump?!?!?! Please be joking with Tkachuk hate. If he Kariya'd him, that'd be one thing, but that wasn't even a hard hit. Two minutes in the box for interference. Anything beyond that is crazy IMO.

Yes but it wasn’t a suspendible offence IMO. Interference yes, to the head no.
