Mark had his chance in the 2nd round when Brock was tired and needed to recover. Mark did next to nothing though. I though he was gassed too but I suppose he could have been hurt more than anyone realized.

I think that he was starting to be gassed and that he was too cautious by fear of the TDs.

Basically Lesnar won by what everybody thought, pure wrestling.

Maybe he just wasn't as good as people thought he was.

Brock doesn't to get punch
Mark doesn't want to get taken down

Mark was hesitant, Brock went for it and won. In terms who was gassed, they were about equal.

280 lbs of farmboy on your chest will gas you.

Brock was doing more BJJ than wrestling.

Gassed, and afraid of Brock timing his punches for TDs. There were a few instances where Hunt threw, Brock changed levels on him and almost picked him off with a TD, Hunt got noticeably more gunshy after a few of those.

Great job by Brock.

Hunt didn't take chances. He was too nonchalant. As if it was beneath him to go for broke.

Also Brocks lats looked like wings. If he ran a little quicker he might take off and start flying.

All natural. Great job on USADAs part as well.

Not even close to being rocked, he did have a albino guerilla laying on him though.

This.

I lean towards @Elysianwing's gunshy, but I think the New Zealander was tiring too; heck, both were flat-footed in there, looking like statues by the second round. It's called heavyweight for a reason, lads. :D

Brock looked good reacting to Rd. 2 Mark's stand-up and changing levels like he had - I liked that shoulder-catch of Mark's overhand early in the round too; adding to the hesitation were maybe even Brock's face-pushes, with each finger wanting to say hi to Mark's eyeballs.

Hunto had more than enough reasons not to step in and fight high-energy here, but his one-shot, one-kill moment never arrived, so he looked (in my opinion) stiller or more on-empty than he actually was.

Brock never patty-caking to gauge distance also tells me that he wasn't interested in actually standing with Mark and "partying", so the second round wasn't an opportunity for either trading as much as Hunto avoiding the takedown.

I thought it was an interesting fight actually.

That was the round hunt should have gone all out. Lesnar literally spent the entire round catching his wind. Hunt was thinking about not getting taken down and winning the round to even the score but it set up the loss. Hunt should have thrown caution to the wind and let his hands go. Of course a fresher Lesnar to start the third was going to get Hunt down. He sat on him there.
