Never seeing your family, especially on holidays, and having to deal with broken ribs and blown-out knees and fractured ankles and broken fingers - which he had - and refuse to miss any dates because he was advertised.

I he was, I can see how that could also effect your performance. Brock was a beast up until his diverticulitis, so, if this is true and he had knee surgeries and such he maybe could have been even more formidable.

Well yeah the guys been throwing around weights since he was in the womb.

Wrestlers take a beating
Brock almost broke his neck from this

Iirc, he cited the injuries, travel, and subsequent drug and alcohol abuse to mask them as his original reason to leave wwe.

as was the story with a ton of pro wrestlers, sad man

It is not that bad....Wrestlers have access to amazing drugs...amazing drugs.

To the dopes that think Lesnar landing on his head was "fake" and that he was not injured:

During the match at WrestleMania, Lesnar botched a shooting star press, a move he'd done numerous times in developmental matches, and jammed his head and neck. This stunned Lesnar and forced Angle and Lesnar to improvise the finish of the match. Lesnar would defeat Angle, after delivering an F-5, to win his second WWE Championship. Lesnar was diagnosed with a legitimate concussion from the botched shooting star press

I dont care much for wrestling, but you cant tell me that didnt hurt like a bitch.

Not a fan of WWE or any pro wrestling for that matter, but I can't even deny that doing all that "fighting" ruins their bodies.
