Jesse Forbes was Shamrock's first pick on TUF 3.
He lost by submission in the 1st round, and then brought back again and lost by submission in the 2nd round.
If you ever watched that season, Ken Shamrock treated Jesse like his long lost son.

Was he too green in that moment of time in his MMA career or was he too inexperienced in jiu-jitsu?

What's interesting about his late MMA career is his submission win over Jesse Taylor and his knockout win over Anthony Smith.

Probably, but then Amir Sadollah won without any pro experience.

"Kid Hercules" was only 2-0 at the time compared to 1-0 "The Hammer" who tko'd him lol. Danny Abbadi was also 1-0. Different era of MMA back then. <28>

To his credit, Jesse was winning both fights on the show before he got submitted. "Forbes wins that fight nine times out of ten!" - Shamrock :D
