Was at the fights last night and all I can say is that if you ever have the chance to go to a fight live you should go. The atmosphere, the sheer energy that was in the building was simply amazing. Even if a fight card doesn’t sound the most stacked, a lot of times they can suprise and be a hell of a show. Just last night there was 6 Ko/Tko’s, 3 subs, and 4 decisions, a surprising variety to make sure we got our money’s worth. Would have taken more pictures to post last night, but I was drunk from drinking 16 oz. Modelo’s all night.

I've been to a few and found them somewhat underwhelming, but the fights on the cards did suck. Glad you enjoyed it OP :) :) :)

I've only been to one, Mendes/Lamas, but it was at like 4 pm on a Sunday so I wasn't drinking because I had to drive home. It was fun, but I'd love to go to one on a Saturday night that is a bit more hyped.

Stuffed to capacity !!!

Went once and agree 100%. One of the best things, especially when it is at a casino is the fighters are everywhere and very fan friendly. Went to the Moussasi Jacare Fight night and saw virtually everyone on the card at one point or another in restaurants, walking the halls or even in the seats. At one point Mitrione came right into the crowd still in his fight gear (he KO’d Lewis that night) right where I was sitting to talk to a guy a couple rows ahead of me and across the aisle. When the guy got up I realized it was Kenny Monday. I missed Dana by like half a minute.

Yea, I went to two other UFC events in the past and both were on a Wednesday. It’s like, “who the fuck decided to have this shit in the middle of the goddamn week!?”

Awesome glad you liked it. I really need to attend an event out here in Los Angeles next time they are here.

Very nice dude. Did Paul or KSI get the loudest pop during walkouts?

We're you clapping along during the Berger walkout?

The Golden Snitch..<Lmaoo>

Cool pics. You got to see a really good card overall. Thanks for posting.

Went to a MM headlining card here in KC.

You are right TS there’s something special about being in a room full of other Sherdoggers

That was probably 45 min. before the first fight pass prelim.

Went to a great card for yourself ts. I love going to live events. Have been to 8 different cards in 4 different states at this point

The feel of an arena is awesome, the view when there is grappling on the far side of the cage...not so much.

At home is truly a better viewing experience, but being there with some friends, drinking beers, and throwing up high 5s is pretty alright.

Lol exactly. I would watch the big screen when it went to the ground, but kept finding myself watching it even after it went back to the feet, not realizing it.

I dont get why people say its pointless to go if you watch the screen. Who cares, your there. Its the same shit when you go to a big arena to see a band. Like you said, its the energy when your there that can really get you into it. I most recently went to 226 and man that was a great card. It helps when you have fans to talk to and your not sitting next to someone who doesnt care about mma.

I also went to ghatjie's first ufc fight live and man, what a hell of a fight that was live.

I’ve been to 4 fight nights live and they have all been awesome. Still need to go see a numbered card in vegas
