I wish he did kill all those pigs...they are the worst criminals on the planet. far worse than any mafia in any country...they are nothing but a group of thugs...who were beat up in high school, now carry a gun, with a huge attitude, and think they can tell you what to do....
When I was previously training in Judo, I trained with a cop, a huge hulking guy, and he gave me somewhat of a nuanced view on cops.
I could see that he was trying to "do the right thing", to teach, to be magnanimous, to control his temper etc. At the same time, I could see that his temperament (and perhaps education) were not such that you can count on him to be subtle in his morality, skillful in his communication, or be in control of his predilection toward violence at all times.
So I think you should not hate cops, but realistically ask yourself what kind of people usually become cops. I think most of them are probably trying to do the right thing or at least keep their jobs. At the same time, you might not be dealing with people who have had the highest level of education, who have a certain tendency and liking for violence, thrust into a high stress situation where anyone would be on edge.
I think the ideal thing to do is to know how the cop has actually been trained to handle high stress situations. They probably have been drilled on a flowchart of actions and they will resort to that in a high stress situation. In the US, for communities at high risk, it may be beneficial for people to even learn what that flowchart is, so they can navigate it calmly while protecting their rights in full and without triggering something everyone will regret.
