There was another thread about this and a huge shit storm occurred because Star Wars universe vs war hammer.

Yep i killed it with what i like to call the force vs psyker paradox

If the force and psker powers are supposed to operate on same level than psykers can nulify jedi/sith

If they are unconnected then they still nulify each other!!! Ie the sith and psyker both fall to the ground , both wondering how the other is choking them and why they cant block it.

The orks are awesome...love their evolution in war (pre and post heresy saw some serious tech)
Eldar are the arrogant cool kids
Darkneldar are a bit emo but love the backstabbing
Tau are the only faction evolving tech (at this rate they should rule by 50k)
Necrons are a bit overpowered ..the new lore is cool
Tyranids make 0 sense as they never seem to lose much biomass despite using up emergy moving and spawning and taking damage etc

the only time they were adavanced in any way shape form was the beast campaign


Nids are more then likely running from something if you read the HH books a lot of it points to they are on the run an they're main forces hasnt shown up yet


Necron are OP. See world engine lol


Tau empire still will get absolutely wrecked by the imperium due to sheer might and size(no counter to a lot of imperium tech, like titans, space marines, and they suck in fleet warfare ). I believe when they first went to war they got pushed back to their core worlds before the lines stabilized they would have been whipped out if the nids didn't show up

I just read some of the lore, and paint. The game is pretty meh, but I love the designs for the most part, and enjoy the insane lore of the universe. It is completely bonkers.

The books and what not are nothing more than advertising for the sale of minis like the old GI Joe comics/cartoon. They run with the main chapters and successor chapters to get that sweet sweet mini money.

I got out of 40k because I don't have the time to play as much as I would like or do any modeling. I also don't like the play style of 40k so it makes really hard to want to invest that much money and time into an army.

I was really into WHFB until AOS came out. Selling off the old the fantasy stuff now because fuck the new rules.

The new Blood Bowl rules and miniatures are fantastic. We are getting a league setup for teams this year. Chaos Dwarves will be slaughtering their way to the end zone once again.

Did Bloodbowl finally receive a reincarnation? I used to play back in the 90s. Always dreamed of finishing a full modeled arena complete with hordes of fans of every race cheering and whatnot.

And ullanor ....its like those campaigns crippled and scattered their people and only now with the octarius war raging will push them back to what they were pre crusades (if they win)

Nids are a huge threat and its cool that they may be running from something worse

The tau do have the advantage of their fastly developing tech and seemingly less brutal society
We know theres some slow tech development in iimperium (esp at deathwatch and mentors) but not same rate
Its yet another grimdark aspect that mankind has the tech to save itself its simpl ly that so many factions esp within mechanicus dont.share their best shit

A CHAOS Daemon from space wargame Warhammer 40,000 has shamefacedly yielded to PETA’s request to remove fur from its armour.

The immortal fiend, who entered our galaxy from the hell-realm of the Warp to murder and lay waste to the living, has issued a full apology following pressure from the animal rights group.


It continued: “Somehow, as I was ravening across the cosmos eviscerating and mutilating any sentient being I could, I lost sight of what was important.

“I’m a role model to children, and topping my eight bladed torture-instrument limbs which support the mountain of my putrescent, acid-weeping flesh with fur shoulder-pads is unacceptable.

“I can’t apologise enough for the hurt I’ve caused, and I’ve agreed to appear in PETA’s next ad campaign under the slogan ‘I’d rather be Lawful Good than wear fur.’”

I actually have a few of the old space ork squads from the late 80s, early 90s, with the blitzkrieg leather jacket outfits, sole old terminators.... the old limited edition space marine captain. Wisely retained some of the good stuff.
