This is fucking awesome, as a huge warhammer fangirl im pleased by this

It's the Total War series' first foray into fantasy. Once again, it'll be a combination of turn-based campaign strategy and real-time tactical battles

I'm disdainful of Sega and Creatve Assembly after Rome 2, but that sounds awesome nonetheless.

The new Attila is pretty solid so many they still have some talent left.

Man I hope they don't rush it like they did Rome 2. This could be like the best game ever

Hopefully they add some more armies! I'd love to see something like a lizardmen vs Dark elf expansion

I really want this game to be amazing as I love the Warhammer series, more so Dawn of War 1 and Dawn of War 2 was special out of the series. But, Total War developers are way to fucking safe with their games. Its just the Warhammer series is the complete opposite with dudes practically being demi gods and shit is flying 50 feet when you hit it etc etc.

I hope but I am not expecting anything amazing ^^

Lol, total war devs being safe with their games is perfect for Warhammer Fantasy. It's the kind of game that should have been made for a long time and the gameplay meshes perfectly with Warhammer's table top version. I am extremely happy that they have stopped wasting their licenses selling it to 3rd rate companies and going with someone who knows how to make a tactical game

Warhammer + Total War may be one of the more epic things to come out in RTS games in a long time. I just don't know how the Diplomacy aspect will work out.

It better have a multiplayer campaign though.

Total War games are not RTS.

The combat part of the games is RTS. I also referred to the diplomacy aspect, which I guess is also resource-gathering and what-not. I know that part is not real-time.

Prepare to be devastatingly disappointed if those are your expectations.

More like wishes than expectations. I don't expect there to be a multiplayer/co-op campaign, but I do think the game would benefit from it.

I know it's not 40k (I do like the Fantasy lore more, but that's just because of a handful of the books, the 40k lore is much deeper IMO) but I think co-op factions could work and work well.

Looking forward to it regardless, moarhammer is best Warhammer.

They have it in other Total War games so why wouldn't you expect it?

I still play Dawn of War 2 pretty regularly ^^

Imperial Knights

God I'm such a nerd.

All hail the Immortal Emperor.

There is an mod for "Medieval 2: Total War" called "Call of Warhammer" that is amazingly done. Really recommend it if anyone wants a taste of this stuff.
