I don't use the ignore on a permanent basis and the people I ignore is not always people I dislike or disagree with. Sometimes I even Ignore people I really like a lot.

I do that because there are times a thread gets divided into different posters having a good back to back conversations that is a bit OT but still kinda related however when their conversations have gone many pages I just can't read all their posts and its kinda time consuming to scroll over them so I will put them on ignore temporarily. And I will focus first on the OP and the Thread starters posts.

It would be really good if there can be an ignore thing on per thread basis.

I use it for people who @ me, people who excessively "like" stuff (just one, actually), people who drop stupid one-liners exclusively, and people who just follow me around with empty attacks. But I like to read real disagreement. Never been tempted to put any non-stupid people on or even stupid people who actually try.

I prefer a more proactive approach than this. I don't ignore any posters, I just encourage the shit ones to be on their way.

I casually looked at what it would cost to rent an apartment in these parts of Stockholm, somewhere around 40 EURO per square meter.

I feel there are some posters here who put me on ignore because they are tired of my bad jokes I do post a lot of one liners from time to time.

Although I don't attack people here or throw insults on a regular basis I don't really take this War room posting really that seriously sometimes some posts amuses me and I feel content posting some oneliners like "LMAO" or O damn".

These stock guys on another forum/chat are starting to dislike me. lol. They say I fantasize and theorize too much. I think the market is a philosophical and psychological setting as well. It is based on collective psychologies. Wisdom of crowds. Problem of induction. All things I learned through philosophy made understanding the market more intuitive to me. I like Taleb that way. He uses philosophers a lot. Like the Plato way of picking stocks or mindset in general. That there is some universal law that we only see a shadow of. And if we use our mind's eye we can find this pattern. Similar to Hegel. That reality is reasonable. Taleb is totally against that mindset. Thinking like Plato will not help you predict or adapt to black swans.

I was in line at the store yesterday. About 5 people ahead of me. Every single one of them bought scratch off tickets. Morons. These people often spend around $10 a time on tickets. I was thinking, instead of being a dummy, take that money you would buy scratch offs with and buy a share of a company like Ford. Which is $12 now. But they want that instant gratification.

There was a study done where they gave little kids one marshmallow and the researchers told the kids that if they could sit in front of that marshmallow for like an hour without eating it, they would get 2 marshmallows. They then tracked these kids as they grew into adults. They found the kids who waited for 2 are significantly more successful.

the racetrac by my home (and most others i have seen in the area) have a separate line for cigs and lottery.. if you wanna waste your money and or die of lung cancer you should be forced to wait on a different line IMO

I was added to one of those group chats & contributed my fair share but left soon after because it became intolerable - why? the endless bickering between @WiolentOne & @Rod1 , & @RhinoRush 's "autistic screeching" via shitposting. then there was @tonni gif spamming in there too.

it was meant to be a chat with civil discourse with different subject topics to be discussed daily, yet retards kept disrespecting the rules. it just seemed to me people wanted to talk shit about one another freely without the worry of mods looking over their shoulders.

Store is full, but Apu hasn't said shit from behind the counter. Finally I just dropped my shit and walked out. I legit wanted to drag those pricks over the counter. Lol. Total lack of courtesy and respect for their customers.
