What, reporting someone because they annoy you? I mostly agree. At some point you have to report people to facilitate a certain bare minimum moderation or else it all goes to shit. But people should generally not resort to it so quickly just to score points. I rarely report people, I think one time I reported ole bushman because he was condoning the ethnic cleansing of the Uighurs and I had recently attended a talk by an Uighur so it kind of struck a nerve. But I like to think that was a reasonable report.
Yeah true, kind of a paradox I guess. I just think people are going to take the discussion on this subforum more personally since political beliefs are more likely to be a pillar of one's identity and therefore more likely to be vindictive with reporting.
