You know, this is supposed to be the War Room. There's a reason its called the War Room and not the safe space room. And yet, this is literally the only place on the entire board that people regularly tattle and whine about what people post and try to get them dubbed or banned over it. Never do I get messages from mods or get tattled on anywhere else on the entire site, and thats coming from a guy with over 100k posts.

I mean unfortunately that's not surprising. Its the political subforum so I think tempers will run much higher and therefore people will be more likely to try and catch one another for posts worthy of reports for whatever reason.

I mean why would anyone report anyone else in like the P&M for instance? Or the grappling forum? What, you don't like the other guys taste in women or his preferred pass? But here its easy to see why a riled up leftist or conservative might be out to get one another.

What, reporting someone because they annoy you? I mostly agree. At some point you have to report people to facilitate a certain bare minimum moderation or else it all goes to shit. But people should generally not resort to it so quickly just to score points. I rarely report people, I think one time I reported ole bushman because he was condoning the ethnic cleansing of the Uighurs and I had recently attended a talk by an Uighur so it kind of struck a nerve. But I like to think that was a reasonable report.

I post off topic all the time in other forums with all sorts of people. We have ridiculous conversations in the boxing forum all the time. No one complains. Here though, one of 2 sections on the site where you're supposed to actually expect shit talk, its off limits. Its stupid.
