You don't think if cats were big enough we wouldn't have that either? I'm not a huge fan of what's commonly called "pitbulls" as the damn things were bred to fight and most people that own them don't know how to raise a dog but there's plenty of stories of like fucking tigers jumping the fence at zoos and mauling people to death:

Cats if they're big enough are legitimately the current era version of fucking the Jurassic Park velociraptors.
 
Well as evil as my cat is, it cannot stop me from dressing it up in cute costumes made for small dogs.

It will probably just shit in my shoe later.

Cats are the shit b/c they merc things

They aren't Ferret level savage, or whatever that weird Mink guy YT channel does, but pretty savage. They'll kill Scorpions, Field mice, Vinageroons, and other things that are common where i live

Dogs are awesome b/c they're loyal though
i like my bro's cat, he's had it since a kitten it's 12 now

Yeah I like both cats and dogs. Cats are definitely the superior predators, dogs are the superior workers. Both are helpful to me, and both are cute and good companions.

To be fair I love dogs too, but I don't have the lifestyle to own one.

My wife and I both work full time and go to the gym, etc. Its not fair to leave a dog at home alone all day.

That's where I'm sorta at (even if the rental I am in let us have a dog).

One issue, I like big dogs like Akitas and Malamutes so the food costs are crazy high for them. Then the vet bills so I financially can't afford it. My employer runs a doggy daycare system I could make use of but I'd have to leave the house at 7 and though I'm off at 5 cause of traffic I'm rarely home before 5:45 and if I have to stop to grab the pup someplace you know that means I'm leaving earlier and getting home later. The poor thing would only get to interact with me from like 6:15-6:30 until like 5:30 when I'd have to wake up and a ton of that time is me making dinner/sleeping.

Guess what, cats require far less maintenance. You could leave them alone for a few days with food, water, and a fresh litter box and they'd be just fine.

Meanwhile dogs are moochers who can't go even half a day without their owners. Sad!

I commend you for recognizing this. So many people don't

People love dogs. Any non evil person does. But a dog as a pet often is more of a commitment than people bargained for, and then pupppers don't get the life they deserve and need.
