I was watching Werner Herzog's doc about death row inmates in the US and what kind of fucked up legal system there is in Texas holy shit. There was this guy who had 18 lifetime sentences just for robberies and burglary, rehabilitation? Not even once.

I’m from Quebec my wife’s a Chinese / Filipino aka Chilipino Newfie. Her family (2 brothers and parents and 99 year old grandma) are in St. J. Her other brother is in from TO and her sister and kids are in from Australia. I am having a hootenanny playing smash brothers on the switch and thrill of the fight on quest VR with like 8 of us (young sons of everyone plus my 5 year old). And we all went bowling tonight (my team won). So it’s been a pretty good xmas. Might the last one like this it the parents are having health issues and it was a pretty tough year.

I'm glad you're having such a great time after all the trouble getting there. All the best to the parents.

I tried one out of curiosity, it wasn't bad but definitely not the "can't tell the difference" as they claim.

But I'll never have one again. My breath smelled so bad after that, even I was aware of it as I desperately sought out a stick of gum at work. It like smelled so bad, I could feel the bad breath in my mouth. Then after getting home, wife immediately asked me what the fuck happened and told me to brush my teeth.

Ugh, good to know. I try to cut my own meat consumption and get a veggie burger now and then, I’ve found a few to be very good (Seasons 52 has the best I’ve tried). But no way I’m trying BK’s version.
