My take on Jack's "kill yourself" is that it's absolutely hilarious given his history and style, and that it was in jest but out of character. I love the whole thing.

Don’t you have a Taco Bell to be throwing sauce packets around?

I don't even care about defending Jack, I'm annoyed by HBD spraying his menstrual blood on the floor and you egging him on.

He is one of my feistier trumpanzees.

Thank you. You get it. I don't post stuff by accident.

Who's seeing the Rise of Skywalker?

{<jordan}

You know you're talking about Texas, right?

There's a better chance of Jesus coming back and smiting the unbelievers than anyone in the Lege openly chastising cops. The amount of "Back the blue" bumper stickers and blue line flags around here would make your head spin.
More's the pity. I'm not asking for this to happen but I guess some politician or Judge's kid is going to have to get shot in his own home by a cop for this to end, is it?

I hope his community college also has a Dunkin Donuts or Krispy Kreme nearby.

Sadly, I will be viewing it. Even though I know it will likely be a hot mess. The nerd inside me sees Star Wars and I need my fix.

Haven't read the rest of the thread yet, but this is what the headline says now, "Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, extremist leader of Islamic State, dies at 48". And it's on the obituaries page. Using it as an excuse to suggest journalistic malfeasance is silly, imo. And how quickly does a correction have to be made to be acceptable? In this case it appears to be less than a day. Do you still have a complaint now?
Then read the thread because I never suggested malfeasance.

Can you imagine being an employee there and he walks in?

I bet they would have some kind of code system like “Get the manager, a Canadian just walked in”

Indeed, too strong a term but I was in a hurry at the time. My bad. Failing to maintain a high standard of journalism? Is that better? So, again, it was an obituary, not headline news, and the title was changed PDQ. Still see it as a massive victory for Trump that they should be raked over the coals for?

lol, read the thread for context. I'm not getting into it again.

Think of the last three years as the gaslighting equivalent of chinese water torture.
You can't look at things like this headline, and other issues, as a drop of water, you have to look at them relative to the stage we're in.
There are already retards talking about taking up arms over impeachment, headlines like these are no longer things we can scoff at.

As it relates to Trump's war on the free press, particularly the WaPo, but also this is a pretty big deal getting this guy for the 5th time.
Just give the admin the credit, portray the guy as the evil villain that he was and move on. Now the Trumpets are all in a tizzy.

Agreed, but my point is that the media shouldn't still be having problems like this in the Trump era. They're doing themselves a disservice as well as the concept and trust associated with a free press.

I had planned to get to this as well. I see you're making a rather more general point here, but I think this is a bad example to anyone but the people already primed to get off on it. As is evidenced ITT. The Trumpets manufacture their own tizzies so this one more or less isn't going to matter, IMO.

The question is, can you similarly impugn their news reporting with anything other than the occasional bit of human error?

I mean, nobody actually cares about telling another poster to kill themselves tho....

In theatres?

I will also watch it but solely for talking points after TLJ ruined everything
