That's easily one of the worst films in the Marvel universe. That and "Iron Man 2" are the ones that really stick out as lazy rush jobs. I think they both might have suffered from the writer's strike though.

The people I don't trust instantly are the ones that when they see someone broken up over saying goodbye to the family pet have the:
"They're just a dog"

Even guys that raise hounds to chase mountain lions off cattle properties and stuff... their dogs are tools for their business but even THEY you can see are impacted when they lose a dog either to a cougar or just old age.

Sometimes it's just hard to empathize if you have no emotional point of reference. But you're just being a dick if you don't fake it for someone who is obviously hurting over it. Those are two different things, I think.

There's a difference between not wanting one personally and not empathizing with them generally or having the capacity to enjoy them. Like people who have no problem with animal cruelty or animal abuse in factory farming. I wouldn't trust any of them for a second.

I do my best when we have run out of wild game meat where I live now that we harvested ourselves to get organic meat products but sometimes the price I just can't do it and I hate buying like the 5lb ground chuck from the store.

I know some (looking at you @Wet Blanket) probably view me as a hypocrite for caring about like dogs and cats and shit but getting bacon and such from a local butcher shop but I've tried the veggie thing and I straight up can't do it.

MOST vegetarian shit (like falafel as an example) if it's good and someone doesn't TELL me it's vegetarian I will love. You tell me it's vegan/vegetarian and there's an unconscious bias of mine that goes off and makes me brain look for any reason to not like it.

Yeah, I'm kinda torn. On one hand, he can be a great agitator and asset to the team. On the other hand, he's a complete fucking idiot who fucks up at the worst possible times.

This movie was my favorite as a kid... now as an adult it makes me tear up like 4 separate times.

1.) The bear cub's mother dies

2.) The bear cub finds the big male in the puddle

3.) The bear cub fighting off the dogs

I know in real life an adult male grizzly gets in your face like that you're like 99% likely to be dead. But the feeling of how the bear acts like the human is beneath them is incredible.

He was the Leafs version of The Rat only his antics always got him fucking suspended whereas Marchand just ends up in a box for 2 minutes.
