nice.

where at?

Just in Ontario, nowhere too intense. I think the toughest route was a 5.11.

I hate heights and am very bottom heavy, but a good buddy peer-pressured me into getting started and now I might pick up a harness and shoes. Really great way to spend a day this time of year.

@Trotsky @Jack V Savage how would you guys respond to a characterization of transnational authorities such as the UN as "liberal imperialism"?

I'm reading a book now that positions the latter as the fundamental opposition to nationalism, but something about it feels off. The author suggests that the philosophy of globalization is just the latest incarnation of imperial Rome/Germany/Britain etc.

i think i'll try the auto-belays at the gym this month and go from there.

I think you misunderstood the PM. "Trailer trash" wasn't the ethnic/racial slur you used. There is a blanket ban on any use of ethnic/racial slurs on this site, regardless of whether it is being used sarcastically or not, and regardless of the race/ethnicity etc the poster claims to be. The reason the infraction was for "offensive posts" is because the "ethnic/racial slur" infraction automatically triples the amount of points and puts you on track to be banned. That's why sarcastic use is typically grouped with "offensive posts".

Knew it.

I've noticed two kinds of libertarians.

There's the meme level ones. These gys either aren't very smart or at least don't think about politics deeply(like maybe a compentant engineer who shit posts on Facebook)

Then there are the ones who think about it a little too much and fall down the rabbit hole of race realism. Greoric is exhibit A

Idk, maybe the way Ronda Rousey's dad did. You know, with car exhaust.

Whoa....completely forgot about tha .

on a serious note, you mean rock climbing?

i've been bouldering for almost 2 years, to augment my acrobatic strength.

How has that been done for you? In terms of augmenting your acrobatic strength?

There are several great locations in Seattle that have bouldering.
The first time I went with some some female colleagues, my dumbass relied on complete strength rather than finesse and skill...

My grip strength completely dissipated after 30 minutes. I had to drive home with my palms on the steering wheel. I couldn't make a fist.

it tooks a couple months to start getting good workouts in.

you HAVE to warm up with several of each of the easy problem levels. hell the first good workouts were just doing all of those in the room.

i pulled muscles, or hurt tendons on the crimpy holds the first couple of times and the shit hurt for 2 weeks. couldn't climb. every different type of hold almost instantly exhausted my grip strength the first time out.

so i just started tackling the easy climbs till i could do all of the first level in the room. then the next level. so i'm hitting 20 problems in a day. huge leap from that first day. then just add some difficulty, add a higher number of problems to accomplish, and you're off.

now i'm getting good, and there's less and less girl climbers in the room making me look like a punk ass.

and for acrobatics, it gives me all the pulling strength i could ask for

It's kind of ambiguous terminologically. I mean, it's ideologically democratic at an international level in a way that, at least supposedly, informs or otherwise interferes with purely nationalistic decision-making. Things like FTA's would seem more in-line with that description, though, in that they favor freedom of contract for private actors in limitation of state action by participants. But, obviously, I would suspect that someone making that kind of statement and using that kind of exaggerated language doesn't think of "liberal" in terms of economic freedom (FTA's) and thinks of it more in terms of....well, anything that stresses international cooperation or good in the world.

Calling you a WNist is on point and so is calling the other posters who criticism my criticism of WNism.
To some of you righties, any strong criticism of WNism is anti White. You just hate it that I criticize WNism.

You also hate it when threads are made that is critical of White racism, like that recent thread about the White women who runs a wedding venue that denied that interracial couple the chance to host their wedding there. You tried to deflect from O.P. in that thread by bringing up Muslims.

Here is your comment. Posts like this only further proves your racist mindset.
https://forums.sherdog.com/threads/...erracial-wedding-because-of-religion.4009275/

You have no problem with all the threads critical of Blacks and non-White Christians but a thread pops up about a racist White woman and you get annoyed. You are like the WNist leaning righties on other forums who only want to see posts that show Blacks or non-Whites in a bad light, but get bent out of shape when someone makes a post critical of White racism.

Isn't this libel, @Madmick?

It does seem that way. Thanks - two chapters in and how trade fits into this schema is one of the biggest outstanding questions I have so far as well.

I think we're done here. Good luck with the gay murder and blood and fluid drinking stuff though.

You can't escape what is a part of you Mr. Fawlty. You can throb all you want it makes the sliding much worse as you constrict. Don't fight it.... embrace it.

Yea , at SBP, ( Seattle bouldering project) they rank the holds similar to karate belts.

White is the easiest
Yellow
Green
Blue
Red
Purple
Black

Like you, I just pace myself on the easier holds at first...then slowly progress to the more difficult ones.

I swear , some people are part insect, with their ability to hang on to walls, upside down and shit

We can live together. Wouldn't you like that?

Of course he’d love that. Fawlty was actually saying the other day something about a Nexus, like he want a Nexus or something.

I’m not White tho.
I’m Black ;)

That neither addresses the racism against jews or your accusations that I, oddly, hate white people while being a white guy myself.

I don't think you're trolling half as effectively as you think.

If mods started banning people for stuff you don’t like, there’d only be like 2 or 3 people left. Site traffic would dry up, and it wouldn’t be attractive to advertisers anymore. It has to be a violation of the rules to warrant mod intervention. Feel free to review the rules at your leisure.
What they’re doing is derailing the threads with spam.

Can you imagine what a massive, earth-shattering scandal it would be if Obama secretly invited the Taliban to fucking Camp David while they were actively involved in attacks on US citizens and allies and then lied about the reason for canceling the invite after they perpetrated/claimed an American death for the purpose of negotiation strength.
Those were my first thoughts when reading about that.
