There was a post from a righty some months back bitching aloud how the Mods don't do anything to me. The context of his post was a thread in which me and a couple of righties were arguing about WNism. This poster didn't like me being critical of WNism.

There was another post from a few weeks back where a righty was (in essence) telling @panamaican that Mods like him would be be de-modded. I don't recal the name of the poster or the exact words , but the gist of the post was stating that certain Mods would be targeted by rightwing posters.

For 99.99 % of the years I have been on this forum I didn't give a shit enough to ask Mods to take action against some of you righties, but then recently I realized some of you righties (not you necessarily) have been going to the Mods to ask for action against some lefties, like me for instance, or are specifically trolling with those 1 liners and targeting certain Mods. So heck if some of you can complain, then I can too.

I do not know of the poster(s) to whom you refer, but for me it is very simple: (1) people should follow the rules, and (2) the rules should be applied fairly. Once those two conditions are met, there’s nothing to complain about. It’s just a difference of opinion.

Very important issue and it shows why its important for us to preserve the extended family. Just crazy to me that those of us in the developed world find our elderly in complete social isolation and our children with not enough adults around to raise them.

Can you imagine dying like that? Alone in your mess of an apartment, in an abyss of depression? Knowing it'll likely be days, maybe even weeks, before a stranger finds your body? What a hell we've created.

What do these 1 liners achieve, they sure aren't addressing the content of the O.P. No one is saying posters shouldn't criticize or argue the merits of the criticism against Trump, but do so in good faith and address the claims or accusations made in the O.P.

They're just ahead of the curve, we don't do something we're going to end up like them. See that thread on why marriage rates are down? Well check the marriage rates in Japan. From the people I'm talking to and connected with, it's not looking good. China is eyeing them as a major problem, and we all know how that goes for anybody going against the regime. Ironically, with the American flags being used by protesters and mentioning 'Trump" it slightly simmered down because China does Respect Donald, and much like themselves and their regime, they see the 'crazy' and 'do whatever necessary' in him. China is worried about American intervention.

Still, we are not going to hear about a lot of the bad stuff. They are moving much more discreetly now in terms of locking people up and detaining them. If I had to guess, this Hong Kong issue will be swept under the rug and get quieter by the day, but for the people living there it will be getting worse and worse. Sad to say, but I see no positive in the situation for Hong Kong or it's people in the near future.
