If they're not a football fan they probably don't know who Antonio Brown is

<TheDonald>
I feel like he's a big enough name they've heard of him

Like, I haven't watched an NBA game ever in my life, but aside from LeBron I know James Harden and a couple others
No idea who Antonio Brown is and no desire to find out.

A generational talent at Wide Receiver that may or may not be showing early CTE signs from two massive hits to the head:

There's another one he took from Burfict at one stage too but I can't find it.

TBH, I think the CTE bit is kind of silly, particularly when tied to that Burfict hit, which wasn't particularly gruesome, certainly compared to the head-hunting shots of decades past.

I think it's more of a tongue in cheek joke from the NFL fans in the thread but... well... Brown was always kind of a diva but he really went off the deep end since like 2017 when he decided to Facebook live while Tomlin was talking post playoff win.

I hate the word "papyrus" because every time I see it I pronounce it "pappy-russ" in my head.

In times of crisis you will look for any scapegoat...look for anyone who is different....enough.

Disgusting, sad behavior. Not much more to say
I agree. To me it's even more sad that so many Americans thought a black man being elected president merited such a reaction.

And I'm still waiting.

I really wonder how many offers were even out there for Brown if we only got a 3rd and a 5th. The national media seemed to ignore how crazy Brown was but maybe owners/ coaches were wiser and way more aware. Raiders are a team that would take a risk like that.

unfortunately we have many dumbasses in this country, who can't look past simple differences, be it race, religion, ethnic background etc.

Obama was a double dip in that regard.

he was Black, and had a Muslim name.

Not saying that these were the primary reasons why people didn't like him, but it certainly gave simpletons ample reason to hate him.

Im pretty sure that is the exact reason that most people didnt like him

He was a centrist that I see as a failure for not being more FDR like and the way others tell it he was some kind of socialist created with spare terrorist body parts sent straight from hell to destroy America. He didnt do one single socialisty thing. He didnt take anyones guns. The wars rages on. Motherfuckers got deported in droves . Banks and wallstreet made out like bandits . The reaction a lot of seemingly ordinary americans had to that dudes election was down right irrational

And heres the thing. A lot of people that reacted that way dont think they are racists probably have black friends but there was just something about Obama that they couldnt quite put their finger on that made them hate his guts and feel like him being president somehow threatened america. Politically it is the craziest thing I have ever seen happen in my life . People can get really weird about race and I legit dont understand it.

I keep my FB up for a few reasons. to connect with old friends, connect with new CrossFit friends, stay on top of birthdays, and ...just to get a glimpse at how crazy politics can make certain people.

not to pull a Trump, but both sides really fu*king lose it.

I saw it all the time with Obama, over really stupid shit, and ridiculous conspiracy theories and leaps in logic...

similar to what we see now with the far left tearing out their hair over EVERYTHING that Trump does. (some legitimate, many not so much).

In my humble opinion...Obama's biggest mistake was trying to compromise with those who had no intention EVER of compromising with him. to his credit, he reached across the aisle at first...and to his detriment, he didn't realize just how partisan the other side was.

What's the republican plan? Encourage pollution and consumption on all fronts?

Kind of a rant this post triggered my thoughts to go down

As a hunter republicans are the worst people on earth other than supporting your right to own a gun. They always want to selloff and destroy public land , they are always in favor of less environmental regulations allowing the rivers to get all nasty , and are always in favor of cutting the dnrs budgets for managing the land making getting out in the wild harder less control of animal disease less dudes out lookin for poachers and people jackin up streams and just in general are the worst stewards of the land you can imagine

Free legal tip of the day:

Don't plan your next felony over the phone in your jail pod right next to the sign that says, "All calls will be monitored and recorded."

Some fringe journeyman wide receiver

Vs the face of the NBA

Its not a mistake to do what the president is supposed to do. And to keep doing it. We're supposed to be for the people and by the people, not by the elected monarch.

And after the Iraq campaign, no one had any illusions and the other side of the Isle.
